TIE: Messaging Portal version 4 released

New version is the basis for an array of solutions
Master Data Management software company TIE Holding N.V. ("TIE") listed on the EuroNext Amsterdam Stock Exchange hereby announces that it has launched a new version of its successful product for messaging: TIE Messaging Portal version 4. Based on this new version, TIE also releases a shrink wrapped solution for paperless invoicing, the TIE eInvoicing Solution.

This new version of the robust TIE messaging product adds a flexible, mail-like user interface allowing easy access to business transactions. Users can be involved in the transaction flow and thus become part of the workflow. The users are notified of any actions awaiting their attention. Within the transactions an update history can be maintained allowing full control over the processsteps which can be defined by the user of TIE Messaging Portal version 4.

Using this functionality several projects have been implemented with customers. Examples are a Tracking & Tracing Portal for customers of a logistical service provider, a Purchase Portal for a large retailer and a Product Introduction Portal for a manufacturer. These capabilities now become available for anyone in need of a flexible, powerful transaction handling system with an easy-to-use portal functionality. This version of TIE Messaging Portal is a typical exampe of a product within the TIE Kinetix™ family of products. It serves as a front-end to all ERP systems which for various reasons cannot be deployed on the web serving your business partners. On top of that, TIE Messaging Portal version 4 is certified for SAP XI 3.0.

The TIE eInvoicing Solution is a predefined configuration of TIE Messaging Portal version 4 allowing the user to get started with full paperless invoicing. It supports the legislation of several European countries for replacing traditional invoicing with paperless invoicing. It also supports the creation of a harmonization document in case any of your customers would require such a document.
