TIE achieves “Powered by SAP NetWeaver®” certification

TIE Kinetix Master Data Management Solution is certified for integration with SAP

Business-to-business eCommerce software company TIE Holding N.V. ("TIE") listed on the EuroNext Amsterdam Stock Exchange hereby announces that it has achieved certification status from SAP for integration with SAP's XI 3.0. For all SAP who want to migrate to the new SAP platform, TIE has a complete integration solution with TIE Kinetix.

TIE's Master Data Management solution gives customers a single view of strategic data across the enterprise. Customers who implement Master Data Management within their organizations deliver timely, accurate and consistent data about their products improving efficiency throughout their operations. Available as both a software license and as a service (SaaS), solutions enable companies to optimize internal business processes and enhance their ability to connect with external trading partners and customers.

SAP NetWeaver is SAP's integrated technology platform and is the technical foundation for all SAP applications. SAP NetWeaver is marketed as a service-oriented application and integration platform. SAP provides the development and runtime environment for SAP applications and can be used for custom development and integration with other applications and systems. SAP NetWeaver is built using open standards and industry de facto standards and can be extended with, and interoperate with, technologies such as Microsoft .NET, Sun Java EE, IBM WebSphere and now TIE Kinetix.

SAP is in the process of moving its entire customer base to this environment and large SAP user accounts are now being moved to the new platform while the old SAP R3 interface is being phased out. Since the old TIE SAP R3 Connector and the new TIE SAP XI Connector can run together, current TIE users have a defined upgrade scenario. TIE currently has many users in different countries that have the TIE software integrated with SAP.
